Emily's
Chef Rick Halberg's opus to his daughter Emily is serving French-inspired Mediterranean cuisine in a romantic cozy old house, dating from 1850 to 1875 - no one knows for sure. Expect culinary temptations such as New Zealand Cervena venison, dusted with fennel and coriander and pan roasted, served with wilted organic spinach, Laura Chenel goat cheese mashed potatoes and plum gastrique; or Alaskan halibut, rubbed with truffle butter, wrapped in Lacinato kale, and served with a ribollita of baby lima, kidney and carmellini beans with butternut squash and tubetti - all of it surrounded by heady smells from the kitchen, the soft glow of candles and pumpkin-hued washed walls.
